Which countries are invited?

The present training programme is open to EU Member States, EFTA-EEA countries, Candidate Countries, ENP countries, Mediterranean countries and other selected Third countries. The expected attendance is 280 trainees over the 2 years of project globally.

What is the programme for the field day?

The programme for the field day includes visits to livestock farms and other control objects and visits of regional offices of the competent authority.

What is the methodology and working approach for the training programme?

Our overall approach is based on the following principles:

  • participant oriented training approach and the facilitation of the learning process
  • building of interdisciplinary working groups whose composition will remain unchanged throughout the workshop
  • Compilation of a set of well prepared presentations of Tutors to introduce the specific topics of their specialities, case studies and practical demonstrations of an animal database system
  • active participation of hosting countries
  • appropriate training location and good mix of participants
