Course on Animal IRT completed

Final session took place in September 2017 in France

05.12.2017

The 20th training event on Animal IRT under the BTSF initiative ended where it all began four years ago in Bourg-en-Bresse. We have to congratulate our team of tutors who remained stable throughout four years training courses and the organisational team was happy to reward such fidelity with a final dinner offering the famous chicken "poulet de Bresse". Participants coming from 20 different countries, tutors and staff enjoyed an intensive training week highlighting and discussing the most relevant fields related to animal IRT covering the legal and institutional framework as well as technical and IT matters on the implementation and control of Animal IRT systems in France. A very dynamic and enthusiastic group of training participants took the opportunity to make precious contacts and friendships with colleagues. We were very proud to receive for the first time two delegates from Jordan. Thanks to all participants for their positive energy, their collaborative spirit and fruitful communication during the training events, their open minds and great sense of humour in all situations and not least for their precious feedback which helped us a lot to improve our training throuhgout the lifetime of the project.
